Welcome! to yet another Latin American tournament report! This time I'll be sharing with you the stories from 2009 Bolivian Nationals. During GP SaoPaulo, the L3s who were there realized that many parts of the continent were very isolated and that, If we wanted that to change it would be us the ones who would have to take matters on the subject. Latin America, as opposed to for example, Europe, has the problem that even neighbour countries are very far one from each other and plane tickets are very expensive to go from one country to another. That has lead to many communities having only one or no judges at all and, even the ones who have one, don't have much contact with the rest of the world. For those reasons, in Brazil we started to plan some way to get L3 judges to this kind of countries in order to be there for their Nats, certify more Level 1 judges and, if possible, get L2s there so those communities can grow on their own.
